Okay, Fine. Blog.
The Flog is an experiment. We're testing the bell curve meme

We're a 3-month old startup building and experimenting our way towards PMF. We've thought about distribution, we've read sales books, we've thought about it, and then we've thought about it some more. We've been honest with ourselves when we've hit deadends, and, yes, we've hit some deadends. When n=1, there isn't much use for Flank. That rules out friends and enthusiasts. Even 10 person startups are too small to have really felt the pain. We've looked at bigger companies and tried the mechanical approach: segment market, build list of companies, grind out cold reachouts, extract small percentage of conversions. No dice, at least at this stage.
So we put our heads together. We decided to think less. No more startups books. Just try to do things that delight people and see what happens. Blogging is one of those things. A lot of people have asked me to write a technical blog. So blog it is! It'll be hard not to write about Flank, because I'm thinking about that class of problems all the time, but I don't want this to be promotional fluff. Really, I just want to entertain the group of people who are in the Flank universe. We'll see how it goes!
